Why SunSavings
The best of solar, without the guesswork
Most homeowners only get one or two quotes and hope for the best. We built SunSavings to tip the scales back in your favor.
Best equipment
We only recommend panels, inverters, and batteries from manufacturers with proven performance records and strong financial backing, so your system keeps producing for decades.
Best warranty
A solar system is a 25 year decision. We prioritize coverage that protects your panels, your roof, your workmanship, and your power production for the long haul.
Best price
We compare competing offers and negotiate on your behalf. You see transparent pricing and keep more of the savings solar is supposed to deliver.

Common questions
What homeowners ask us
How much can I actually save by going solar?
It depends on your roof, your utility rates, and how much power you use. Many homeowners save between $1,000 and $2,500 per year. Our free calculator gives you a personalized estimate based on your home and your bill.
Does SunSavings install the panels?
No. We are an independent advisory service. We compare vetted local installers, negotiate pricing, and manage the process for you, which means our loyalty is to you rather than to any single installer.
What does your service cost?
Our comparison and recommendation service is free for homeowners. We are compensated by installation partners when a project moves forward, and that never changes the price you pay or the advice we give.
Is the federal solar tax credit still available?
No. The 30% Residential Clean Energy Credit expired on December 31, 2025, so homeowner purchases no longer qualify for a federal credit. State and local incentives are still available in many areas, and leased systems can still benefit from a commercial credit through 2027 that lowers lease pricing. We track current incentives in your area and factor them into every recommendation. Tax situations vary, so confirm details with your tax professional.
What happens if I sell my home?
Owned solar systems typically transfer to the new owner, and studies consistently show that homes with solar sell faster and for more money. We explain how warranties and financing transfer before you sign anything.
